Carla Arrow, MS, LPC, NCC

Education

Carla earned both her Master of Science Degree and Advanced Graduate Degree in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

License/Certification

Carla is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with over 20 years of experience in counseling families, individuals, couples, adolescents and children.

Experience

After completing her Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology, Carla began her career by providing spiritual direction to children and their families in a church setting. Carla then began providing therapeutic interventions for children with Autism in the school environment and began a therapeutic after-school program for children and adolescents diagnosed with Axis I disorders. She then transitioned to working in an inpatient setting with children and adolescents diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant and Conduct Disorders. While working on her Master’s degree, Carla worked with families and children providing Cognitive Behavioral therapy to the whole family in order to preserve or reunify those families through the York County Children and Youth and Juvenile Probation programs.

After completing her Master’s and Post-Masters degrees, Carla worked in an outpatient setting with Adults and Couples struggling with a variety of issues from Mood Disorders to Addiction to Communication issues and Eating Disorders. At the same time, she began to supervise other therapists and advocates who provided support and therapy to families in their home. Carla continued in her career by providing therapy for those in the York County Prison and Parole system as well as for those in the workplace and school system who needed Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. She has provided trainings in Adult Mental Health to Bachelor and Master level clinicians through the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Competency-Based Training and Certification Program through the University of Pittsburgh.

In 2007, Carla began her own counseling practice where she provided individual, couples and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Since then, her practice has grown to include a number of other highly qualified therapists to help her provide healing and hope to those in our community so that they may grow and flourish. Carla is now focusing her efforts on training, supervision and administrative leadership within the counseling field.

Annemarie Smith, MSW, LCSW

Education

Annemarie received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Maryland School of Social Work where she specialized in clinical work with families and children.

License and Certifications

Annemarie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in clinical treatment of individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children. She received specialized training in Structural Family Therapy through The Philadelphia Guidance Center.

Experience

Annemarie began her career working with adolescents in foster care who were in an independent living program in Maryland. She worked 7 years in a residential treatment program working with children who had experienced physical abuse, sexual trauma, and/or emotional abuse/neglect. She also worked as a Family Based Therapist providing intensive individual, parent, and family therapy sessions. She initiated behavior modification treatment interventions as a Behavior Specialist Consultant. She has worked as on outpatient therapist for over the past 8 years, working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Annemarie has a passion for helping people discover the root causes of feeling stuck in defeating patterns and experiencing the freedom which allows them to have a hope-filled outlook on life.

Jessica J. Lowry, LCSW

Education

Jessica earned her Master of Social Work Degree from Wheelock College in Boston, MA.

License/Certification

Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience in counseling families, individuals, couples, adolescents and children.

Experience

Prior to completing her Bachelor of Social Work degree, Jessica provided supportive services to women and children in a large, specialized, homeless shelter. After completing her Bachelor of Social Work degree, Jessica worked as a case manager and housing advocate for women and their children who fled from domestic violence situations and were living in a specialized, supportive housing program. While obtaining her Master or Social Work degree, Jessica worked in a specialized outpatient therapy setting with children, ages 0-8, who had experienced various forms of violence (domestic, community, media, etc.) and additional trauma. After obtaining her masters degree, Jessica moved to Louisiana and Mississippi to help with disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina, leading teams of volunteers and providing spiritual counsel to individuals in the region. Jessica then settled in New Orleans, Louisiana and worked as a therapist and case manager in a forensic community treatment program helping individuals with severe and persistent mental health conditions transition out of state and local hospitals and into the community, as well as supporting them in navigating through the court system. Jessica then began working in community and school settings providing individual and group therapy to individuals, children, adolescents, and families with various diagnoses. Jessica and her family relocated to Pennsylvania in 2013, where Jessica worked in an inpatient program as a group therapist with adults living with severe and persistent mental illnesses. She also worked in both community-based and school-based programs with children, adolescents, and families in areas of behavior modification. In 2015, Jessica made the transition out of community-based programs and into providing therapy in outpatient mental health settings. Jessica has been with Arrow Counseling Services since 2016 and works with individuals and couples 14 years and older.

Tammie Cool, MSW, LSW

Education

Tammie earned her Master of Social Work degree from Temple University. Her studies were primarily centered on healthy relationships, depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Tammie is a Licensed Social Worker with over 3 years of experience writing treatment plans and counseling adolescents and adults.

Experience

After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Tammie began her career working as a behavior specialist for students diagnosed with Autism. Tammie moved on to work direct care with individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities where she addressed behavioral, emotional, and physical needs of the individuals. While attending Temple University she provided mental health outreach and therapy services to students at Pennsylvania State York. Upon completion of her MSW she worked as a clinical coordinator where she developed treatment plans for children diagnosed with Autism. Tammie continued working at Penn State York while establishing her outpatient therapist career.

Jamie Toluba, MSW, LSW

Education

Jamie earned her Masters of Social Work at Widener University in Philadelphia where she specialized in clinical social work. She is a licensed social worker under the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors. She has over 10 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families.

Experience

After receiving her bachelor’s in psychology from Penn State University Jamie went on to work with children who are diagnosed on the Autism spectrum, as well as Oppositional Defiant disorder and ADHD. After obtaining her Masters in Social Work, Jamie became a mobile therapist working with families and children in their home and school setting. Soon thereafter, Jamie went into private practice focusing on individual and couples therapy.

Clinical Experience

Jamie utilizes the Gottman method along with principles from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) when working with couples. Therapeutic methods she frequently uses in her practice include: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), client centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Jamie specializes in working with couples who desire to communicate in a healthy and effective manner as well as rebuilding trust and commitment within their relationship. Emma Draganosky, MSW, LCSW

Education

Emma received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work.

Emma is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker under the Pennsylvania Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselors. Emma has a Level I Certificate in Advanced Trauma Treatment from the Ferentz Institute in Baltimore, MD.

Experience

Emma began her social work career in the health care arena and has worked in various settings; including, Acute Care Hospitals, Rehabilitation Hospitals, Retirement Communities, Hospice Care and Community Mental Health. Emma has experience providing individual counseling, family counseling, case management, group therapy, bereavement support and educational in-service trainings.

Jennie Lawler, MSW, LCSW

After completing her Bachelor of Social Work degree, Jennie began her career in foster care and adoption, supporting Children and adolescents in foster care, who were working towards reunification and/or adoption. Jennie began providing therapeutic interventions for children with autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, anxiety, and depression in the school and home environment. She also worked in a summer therapeutic program for children and adolescents with autism. While working on her Master’s degree, Jennie provided in-home family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults providing cognitive behavioral therapy and Structural Family Therapy, and provided social work support to patients and families in a pediatric hospital setting. After completing her Master’s degree, Jennie worked in a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Prior to joining Arrow Counseling Services, Jennie provided therapy and behavioral support to children, adolescents, and their families diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, ODD, depression, and anxiety in home and school settings. Amy Ports, MSW, LCSW

Education

Amy received her Masters Degree in clinical social work from Temple University. Amy is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) under the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors. She has over 15 years of experience providing outpatient mental health psychotherapy to adolescents, adults and families. Amy continues to receive ongoing clinical instruction to expand her knowledge and to improve outcomes for her clients.

Experience

Amy began her social work career providing individual and group counseling to survivors of violence and sexual trauma. She continued working in a medical setting assisting individuals and families impacted by life altering physical trauma; such as, brain and spinal injury and those encountering newly diagnosed illness or chronic medical conditions. It was in the primary care setting that Amy transitioned to clinical outpatient counseling. For more than 15 years, Amy has been providing outpatient mental health psychotherapy in a clinical setting with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples and families who have sought guidance in improving their overall emotional well being and functioning. Amy approaches each client relationship with optimism, respect, empathy and non-judgement.

Rebecca Ferraioli, MSW, LSW

Education

Rebecca received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in New York where she focused on clinical social work.

Experience

After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work at Iona College, Rebecca went on to become a behavioral health technician for children in pre-school and daycare settings, many of whom had diagnosis of ADHD and ODD. While working to help children regulate and understand their emotions and behaviors, she began her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. During her education at Fordham, she began co-facilitating group therapy for men and women on probation for domestic violence offenses, where she primarily used CBT techniques and motivational interviewing. After receiving her Master’s in Social Work, she went on to become a Partial Hospitalization Therapist where she conducted biopsychosocials, developed treatment plans, conducted individual therapy, and facilitated group therapy to help patients in crisis return to their previous level of functioning.

Kelsey Wolf, LPC

Education

Kelsey received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah College.

Kelsey is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6 years of experience counseling children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families.

Experience

After Kelsey completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Kelsey worked as a family­based counselor helping to keep children who were at risk of out of home placement, in their homes by helping to build attachments, focusing on executive functioning, self­regulation and utilizing their support systems. After Kelsey completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she worked with children, adolescents, adults and families as a mobile therapist meeting in their homes, schools and in the community. Kelsey also gained experience in a transition classroom for children who were experiencing behavioral challenges impacting their ability to perform academically. In 2020, Kelsey transitioned to become an outpatient and school-based therapist continuing to work with children, adolescents, adults and families. In 2022, Kelsey joined Arrow Counseling Services and will continue working with individuals and families.

Kelsey incorporates Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) when working with individuals and families, solutions-focused therapy (SFT), dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, meditation and relaxation techniques to help create self-regulation to address depression, anxiety, panic and anger. Kelsey also utilizes emotions-focused therapy and strengths-based approaches and has experience working with clients with grief and loss and low self-esteem.

Lucy Kalista, MSW, LSW

Education

Lucy earned her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Bloomsburg University. Lucy then earned her Masters degree in Social Work at Kutztown University.

Lucy is a Licensed Social Worker under the Pennsylvania Board of Social Workers. Lucy has been a Licensed Social worker since 2019.

Experience

After Lucy completed her Bachelors degree in Social Work, Lucy worked with children and their family to provide behavioral interventions to assist with addressing symptoms of ODD, ADHD and Autism. During Grad school Lucy worked on the macro level conducting research and implementing community interventions with the target population being Substance Use Disorder. After Lucy earned her Masters degree in Social Work, She worked in the inpatient setting for Substance Use Disorders. Lucy worked with the male population who were diagnosed with co-occurring disorders including Personality disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety and ODD. Lucy also has experience working for Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Lucy has experience working in the Primary Care Setting as a Medical Social Worker and working with individuals who experience Intimate partner violence.

Lydia Strickland, MA

Education

Lydia completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. During her time there, she specialized in cognitive psychological research, focusing on memory and attention. Following her bachelor’s degree, Lydia completed her MA in August of 2023. During the completion of this degree, Lydia did research in theoretical clinical psychology of meaning-making, self-exploration, and personal goal and resilience creation.

Experience

She worked for a school year conducting outpatient school-based therapy with K-5th grade kids, specializing in trauma and autism spectrum related behaviors. Her therapeutic interventions encompass psychodynamic work, IFS, CBT, and DBT to tackle various issues from anxiety, depression, and trauma to autism spectrum behaviors as well as emotional education. Lydia completed her MA in August of 2023.

Erica Hardesty, MS

Education

Erica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Counseling from Cairn University and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology at Millersville University.

Experience

Since graduating from Cairn, Erica has served in a variety of areas including education, volunteer work, and working with children, adolescents, and families in a church setting. Erica completed her six month internship at Arrow Counseling and recently joined the team as a full time mental health counselor.

Erica has experience working with adults and adolescents using an integrated approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Existential and Humanistic Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Tori Murray, MA

Education

Tori earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Old Dominion University and her Master of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University.

License/Certification

Tori is working toward her license as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Experience

While pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Tori began her clinical journey as a research assistant at Eastern Virginia Medical School. There, Tori concentrated on exploring psychosocial factors influencing substance use. Postgraduation, Tori took on the role of an outpatient mental health counselor, facilitating individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Her therapeutic approaches encompass Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Mindfulness. Sabrina Wegele, MS Candidate


Education

Sabrina earned a BA from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2010 and is currently a Master of Science Candidate in Clinical Psychology at Millersville University (Dec, 2024).

Sabrina worked in the business world for more than a decade before returning to higher education to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology. Since pursuing her new career in Counseling, she has had experience in counseling adult individual struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, grief and difficult life transitions.

Sabrina has been trained in and integrates into therapy, a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Existential-Humanistic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Compassion Inquiry, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, and Motivational Interviewing. Rachel Lee, BA, MS Candidate

Education

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Millersville University in December 2018 and is currently a Master of Science Candidate in Clinical Psychology at Millersville University.


Experience

Rachel has worked in a variety of levels of care, including inpatient, supportive living, outpatient, crisis, and partial hospitalization programs. She has collaborated with individuals ages 5 through late adulthood and is experienced in providing group therapy, individual therapy, family counseling, and case management.

Immediately after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Rachel began working at a child & adolescent partial hospitalization program, where she assisted individuals ages 5 to 18 with mood and behavioral concerns, including ADHD, ODD, anger, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal ideations using primarily DBT and CBT approaches. During the pandemic, Rachel switched to offering in-person and telephone crisis services, where she supported clients off all ages and their families to de-escalate and access services. Since starting her Master’s Program, Rachel has been working as an Admissions Counselor for an inpatient psychiatric hospital.

Clinical Expertise

Rachel has been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, which she incorporates into treatment based on client preference and needs. Her primary orientation is Integrative. Rachel draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, Play-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Existential-Humanistic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Compassionate Inquiry (CI), and Mindfulness.

Sarah Ressler, Office Manager

Sarah is a 2005 graduate from South Western High School. She then continued her education for Cosmetology. Sarah spent her earlier years serving the community through Salon Services and Management. Sarah decided to make a change in her career path but still held a strong desire to help serve the community. Sarah serves the community and team of therapist at Arrow Counseling Services as the Office Manager by Direct Administrative Care with clients, working closely with Insurance Companies, and ensuring that the utmost Customer Service Care is provided.
